Terms of service

These terms apply when Nick Auto Detailing Limited (company number 15786568, trading as Nick Auto Detailing) works on your vehicle. They sit alongside your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which they do not reduce.

Prices and quotes

Prices on this website are by vehicle size. Paint correction is priced from, subject to inspection, and some services are priced on enquiry. The price for your car is confirmed before the work starts. Mobile work includes the first 10 miles of travel from Connah's Quay; further travel is charged at 30p a mile and confirmed when you book. If something only becomes visible during the job and would change the price, you are told and asked before any extra work is done.

Payment

Nothing is paid online. Payment is made on the day, when the work is done.

Mobile visits

• The vehicle needs to be parked where it can be worked on safely, with room to open every door.
• If the work is at a workplace or a shared car park, you are responsible for permission to carry it out there.
• In heavy rain, frost or high wind, exterior work may be moved to another day; you are told as early as possible.

Before the work

• Please remove valuables and personal items. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
• Tell us about any known faults, repairs, resprays, wraps or damage before the work starts.

The condition of your vehicle

All work is carried out with reasonable care and skill. Some things cannot be put right by cleaning or polishing, and some existing weaknesses can show during careful work: deep scratches through the clear coat, stone chips, failing lacquer, poor previous repairs or resprays, loose trim and worn or brittle interior materials. Where we can see these beforehand we will tell you. We are not responsible for faults that already existed.

Coatings and protection

A ceramic coating needs time to cure and needs sensible washing to last. The aftercare instructions given at handover form part of the job, and any manufacturer guarantee on a coating is subject to that manufacturer's own terms.

If something is not right

Please check the vehicle at handover and tell us as soon as possible if anything is not right, ideally before the car is washed or used heavily, so we can look at it and put it right. Contact 07526 208409.
