Who we are

This website is run for Nick Auto Detailing Limited (company number 15786568), registered office 40 Queen Street, Queensferry, Deeside CH5 1TB, trading as Nick Auto Detailing. We are the controller of the personal details you give us. You can reach us on 07526 208409, by email at info@nickautodetailing.co.uk, or by post to the registered office.

What we collect and why

• Booking and quote requests: your name, phone number, email if you give it, your postcode, the car, the service and anything you write in the notes. We use them to reply, price the job and arrange it. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract.
• WhatsApp and phone: messages and photos you send us, used for the same purpose. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy terms.
• Customers: the details needed to do the work, invoice it and keep the records a limited company must keep.
• Website analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used, with IP addresses anonymised. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. See the cookie policy.

Who else handles your details

We do not sell or share your details for marketing. A small number of service providers handle them on our behalf:

• Webso Digital, which built and runs this website and delivers the quote form to us by email
• The website hosting provider, on servers in the European Union, and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site
• Zoho, which carries the quote form email
• Google, for analytics, only with your consent

How long we keep them

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months. Records for work we have done are kept for six years, which is what a company needs for its accounts and tax.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, object to how we use them, or withdraw consent for analytics. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
